Hey you! Yeah, you! I want to thank you personaly for picking up this CD. You hold in your hands a compilation that took months of hard work too make. Crazy, right?

You'd be surprised . . . Last year we asked local musicians and artists to send us, what they felt was their best work, and let the fans and people at home vote for their favorites. We also trekked all over town to find sponsors to provide prizes for the winners and culinary donations for the awards show, where we would announce these winners! Much to my surprise, the event was a big success, and we where able to introduce some very talented creators to the people of Colorado! But Having a show wasn't enough, we wanted to give you (the good folks who came out to our shows) something to take home as well, so we asked our various winners if they'd like to donate their art/music towards one awesome compilation CD, and then we had our own artists design the package that you now hold in your hands! What more could you ask for right?

That would've been the end of it, but unfortunately tragaty struck Colorado this June in the form of multiple wild fires barley a year after the horrific Waldo Canyon fire. There was no question that we had to do our part to help the community, so we decided to host multiple fundraisers and give this CD out for donations to raise money for charity. Of course many great musicians where willing to help out and perform, but there was no way to get them all on stage, so we let them donate their own tracks to make this mixtape and even great achievement, and give them a chance to help those in need. So when you listen to this album, remember that every track on here was made with love and provided by talented people who wanted to do their part for the community. And every penny donated will go to the PPCF: Black Forest Charity Fund! We couldn't have done any of this without you, and with your help again, we can help those who have suffered and bring Colorado back to its former beauty.
